CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) refers to the relationship between a farmer and an individual consumer. A percentage of the Royal Oak Community Farm’s 5-acres is dedicated to CSAs. Individuals who purchase a CSA share get all of the benefits of a personal garden without any of the work. By paying upfront for your share, you have the ability to pick up a basket of fresh seasonal produce every week at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. In return, your money is used to pay for the costs associated with preparing the farm for the growing season.
While we continue to look for land in Royal Oak, our partnering farm, City Farms will still be providing our CSA shareholders with produce. Please visit the website www.cityfarmsgrow.com for CSA Share applications. Shares are still available for 2012!
